The Queensland Health Code of Conduct 2006 (LMO-2028-6Q)
In line with the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994 and the Whistleblowers Protection Act 1994, Queensland Health has developed a Code of Conduct 2006 that applies to all employees in all occupational streams, service delivery and administration settings. The Code of Conduct 2006 sets out the acceptable standard of conduct and workplace behaviour required of management and staff. This course is designed to help employees of Queensland Health understand the Code of Conduct, its purpose, and how to apply it to their everyday work situation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Code of Conduct 2006 and its implications for all employees of Queensland Health
  • Identify legislation relevant to the Code of Conduct 2006 and explain the relationship between the Code of Conduct 2006 and the legislation
  • Apply the Code of Conduct 2006 to achieve acceptable standards of conduct and workplace behaviour
  • Recognise when the Code of Conduct 2006 has been breached and identify appropriate action/s to be taken
  • Encourage and support others to follow the Code of Conduct 2006

The Queensland Health Code of Conduct 2006 online training program has been developed from the Queensland Health Code of Conduct 2006 and builds on the existing platform generated from the Code of Conduct 2000 online training. This revised online training has been developed and approved by Corporate Services Division.
