The Code of Conduct 2006 online learning program is a flexible, interactive, self-paced program developed for all Queensland Health employees to gain an understanding of the Code of Conduct 2006 and its application to everyday work situations.
The online program provides flexible learning activities using lectures, case studies, polls, quizzes and discussion groups. Units on the application of the Code of Conduct in the workplace have been designed specifically targeting the following areas:
staff working in direct client contact
admin & operational staff
managers & supervisors
staff working in small communities
The program is divided into two sections, the first section provides an overview of the principles of the Code of Conduct with a quiz to check your understanding and the second section consists of case studies on the application of the Code of Conduct in the targeted areas. The program allows you to work through a number of mandatory and optional units at your own pace and will take up to 95 minutes in total to complete. A flowchart of the learning pathways for this workshop is available below. For those employees who have a greater understanding of the Code of Conduct, complete only the mandatory units. For those wanting to learn more about the principles of the Code of Conduct and how to apply them in your everyday work situations. Work through as many units as you like.

The Queensland Health Code of Conduct 2006 (LMO-2028-6Q) In line with the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994 and the Whistleblowers Protection Act 1994, Queensland Health has developed a Code of Conduct 2006 that applies to all employees in all occupational streams, service delivery and administration settings. The Code of Conduct 2006 sets out the acceptable standard of conduct and workplace behaviour required of management and staff. This course is designed to help employees of Queensland Health understand the Code of Conduct, its purpose, and how to apply it to their everyday work situation.
